The holiday season is upon us! 2020 has been quite a year, and many of us wonder if sales will skyrocket as it did this time last year. COVID-19 has impacted how people shop and will certainly influence how they will spend their money on the holidays. Still, Q4 is the biggest shopping season, and adaptation is key to thriving in the ever-changing marketplace that is Ecommerce: people have been buying different things, and as an Amazon business, we’re here to meet customers’ needs. So make a list, check it twice, and be ready for the busiest shopping season of the year.
Today, I share some advice and ideas on how you can prepare for the holiday season this 2020 on Amazon. I illustrate how COVID-19 may change the holiday shopping season and list some products you might want to include in your inventory to adapt to how customers have changed their spending behavior. I explain why you may want to consider doing Merchant Fulfillment instead of Amazon FBA this holiday season. I also discuss how offering expedited and upgraded shipping when doing Merchant Fulfillment can be beneficial and emphasize the importance of business adaptation.
